ACT Reviews 2022-2023 Season

which brought gasps of delight from the audience. The wardrobe was pleasing on the eye but there was scope to be more outlandish in this respect, especially for the two Ugly Sisters who usually have an array of weird and wonderful coloured costumes and wigs. The musical choices, accompanied by

Scott Trutter, went down well with the younger audience members who knew the words and sang along. I would suggest that at the opening of each act there is an up-tempo number as this often gets the party started immediately. The choreography by Clare Pascoe and Sue Bradbury is of a standard I have come to expect and enhanced by the light and sound by Martin Webber and Daniel Oliver-Grant. To write your own script and try new things in the pantomime format is a challenge and I dare say nerves were about during the run up to show week and questions asked. Will it work? Well the audience enjoyed themselves and went home happy, smiling and that is what matters. Well done!
